Kids Voting 2024

Kids Voting Northern Kentucky is a nonprofit, non-partisan organization that exists to teach young people the importance of voting and help them develop the habit of voting.

On Election Day, future voters go to the polls with their parents and cast their vote in a mock election at a Kids Voting booth.

  Approximately 10,000 young people voted in our last election. Additionally, hundreds of students volunteers assembling ballot boxes, working polls and count the vote.

· Encouraging voter participation and educating students about the voting process through a mock election;

· Developing voter ballots that include issues relevant to today’s students in order to allow students a voice on issues that matter to them;

· Creating volunteer opportunities that create lifelong volunteer participation in the voting process.
